About Nagoya City

Nagoya is the fourth largest city in Japan and is very centrally located. It is only 1hour and 40 minutes from TOKYO, and 45 minutes from KYOTO by Shinkansen (bullet train). TOYOTA, home of the world-famous motor company, is just 30 minutes drive from the school.

Sakae is the heart of Nagoya. There are numerous shopping areas, banks, companies, and cultural institutions, such as museums and arts centres.

You can take advantage of both city and rural life here in Nagoya. It takes 3 hours to reach the mountains to go skiing and snowboarding in winter, and in summer the beach and other places to enjoy outdoor activities aren't far away.
